Wall Art

Metal wall art, relief panels, and mixed-media wall sculptures. Original artwork for residential and commercial spaces.

Wall art completes the vertical plane of any interior, adding color, texture, and narrative. NUMBO's wall art collection features three-dimensional pieces — metal wall sculptures, textured panels, and relief art — that go beyond flat prints to create tactile, shadow-casting installations. Each piece is handcrafted in our Foshan facility and designed to complement our furniture and lighting collections.

How to Choose the Right Wall Art

Wall art should resonate with the space’s character and scale.

1. Size and Scale

Artwork should occupy 60-75% of the available wall space (between furniture and ceiling). For a sofa wall, the art width should be two-thirds the sofa width. Large single pieces make bold statements; grouped smaller pieces create gallery walls.

2. Height Placement

Hang art so the center is at eye level — approximately 57-60 inches from the floor. In dining rooms, hang slightly lower (52-56 inches) since viewers are typically seated. In entryways with high ceilings, hang at the standard height rather than centering on the wall.

3. Three-Dimensional vs. Flat

3D wall art (metal sculptures, relief panels) creates shadow play and changes appearance throughout the day as light shifts. Flat art offers color and pattern. Combining both types in a gallery wall adds depth and visual interest.

Frequently Asked Questions

How high should I hang wall art?

The center of the artwork should be at 57-60 inches from the floor — average eye level. When hanging above furniture, leave 6-8 inches between the furniture top and the art bottom.

What size art works above a sofa?

Choose artwork that spans two-thirds the width of the sofa. For an 84-inch sofa, that is approximately 56 inches wide. A single large piece or a grouped arrangement of 2-3 pieces both work well.

How do I hang art on different wall types?

Drywall: use toggle bolts or wall anchors. Concrete: use masonry drill bits and anchors. Plaster: pre-drill to avoid cracking. Our larger pieces include appropriate hanging hardware for standard drywall installation.
