What Custom Means at NUMBO
A significant part of our work involves custom production. That ranges from adjusting the dimensions of an existing design to building a completely new piece from a client's sketch. We treat every custom project with the same standards we apply to our standard collection: the same materials, the same joinery, the same finishing and inspection process.
Custom is not a separate track at NUMBO. It is part of what we do every day, and it is how a large share of our orders come in. Whether you need a chandelier re-engineered for a six-meter atrium or a console table built from your own drawing, the process starts the same way: a conversation about what you need and what is possible.

How It Works
Initial Conversation
You share your project requirements: what you need, the space it is for, any drawings or references you have. We discuss materials, feasibility, and timeline. This conversation can happen over email, video call, or in person at our facility.
Proposal and Specification
Based on the initial discussion, we prepare a written proposal covering materials, dimensions, finish, timeline, and pricing. If the project involves adapting an existing design, we include updated technical drawings. For new designs, we provide concept sketches for your review before moving forward.
Design and Prototype
Once the proposal is approved, our design team develops detailed drawings and specifications. For complex or structural pieces, we build a prototype to validate proportions, joints, and finish. You review and approve the prototype before production begins.
Production
Production takes place in our 4,500 m² facility in Zhongshan. Our craftspeople follow the approved specifications at every stage: cutting, forging, joining, finishing, and assembly. Quality checks happen at each major production milestone, not just at the end.
Inspection and Delivery
Every finished piece goes through our standard quality inspection: dimensions checked against the specification sheet, surface consistency examined under direct light, structural integrity verified. If anything does not pass, it goes back to the workshop, not into the shipping box.

Chandeliers re-engineered for specific ceiling heights and spans, pendant clusters configured for particular spatial layouts, sconces adapted to match an interior palette.
Furniture
Console tables, dining tables, and seating adapted from our standard designs or built from a client's sketch. Material, finish, and dimensions are all adjustable.
Architectural Elements
Column cladding, wall panels, and decorative millwork produced to exact project specifications, matched to the architectural drawings for the space.
Decorative Objects
Vases, trays, and accent pieces produced in custom materials, sizes, or finishes to complement a broader interior scheme.
